Welcome to my blog! My name is Ferial Demy, I am an Arabic teacher. I earned my Master Degree in Education from George Mason University. I taught 1st and 3rd grade ESOL at Fairfax Villa in 1999 following to that I taught Arabic for over 4 years at JEB Stuart in Falls Church Virginia. Immediately after that I taught at the Foreign Service Institute for almost 5 years.
I had wonderful experience in each school and I can say frankly that I have learned so much from my students of all ages. they brought me joy and enthusiasm according to their needs.
I am a creative and enthusiastic teacher. I love teaching. I teach wherever I go. I love my Arabic culture where it is mixed of Palestinian of ancestor and Lebanese of birth.
I was born in a small town called Jal-El Dib north of Beirut Lebanon.
I like to share my ideas to my colleagues and I am willing to learn from others. Lately I have been teaching myself technology although I am not good at it but nevertheless I keep using it in the classroom.
